For a sustainable, financially responsible and family friendly local community.

I was elected in 2020, my first term as a Councillor. Prior to this I was the Principal Accountant at my own Goodna-based accounting practice.

Together with my husband, Julian, we are raising two young children, Jordan who is 10, and Livia who is turning 9, going on 19. 

​

A vote for me is a vote for honest local representation and strong financial management of this city's funds, YOUR funds. Councillors are the trustees to all ratepayers, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. That is why I voted against adopting the Council’s 2023-24 Budget.

In my opinion, the fundamental priorities of Ipswich City Council have been forgotten. I am determined to change that.

I stand for calibrated and deliberate plans, not simply the creation of reports for statutory purposes. Local Government is about servicing communities, keeping residents in mind during all decisions by creating better living conditions. 

​

Put frankly, this means better connections via roads, footpaths, bridges; better public spaces such as parks, playgrounds, nature reserves, libraries, community centres; better planning so residents can live harmoniously with the surrounding environment and access services easily; and better maintenance of the assets we hold in trust for you.

Over the course of my first term I have gained knowledge that is paramount to effectively continue as your Councillor for the next four years.
